Hola a todos!
I am now in Buenos Aires, and as promised, I have have made a Blogspot to share my experiences with those of you who are interested in keeping up with me during my time in the deep south.
There is not much to tell at the moment. My new home is very quaint and cute and my host-mom is wonderful and so nice. Her name is Malu -- short for Malucia and she has a 15 year old daughter, Luciana.
For those of you who don't already know, this side of South America has flipped seasons than ours in the States. It is currently winter but surprisingly it doesn't seem that cold for winter... it most likely won't snow as it approaches the end of the cold season and moves into Spring. Spring is from September through November and then the summer months run from December through February... and you can probably figure out the rest of the year. ;-)
I will have a roommate tomorrow. Anna. She should arrive sometime tomorrow morning. I don't know her that well since I only briefly met her at orientation in Athens. She is another student from UGA.
Orientation for classes is Monday and school will start on Wednesday.
I don't want to bore anyone with anymore inconsequential information, but I will keep you posted on my adventures!!
Hasta pronto.
